The Cat Hairdresser

Gentle Cat Grooming,

with Patience, Kindness & Care

Welcome to The Cat Hairdresser.

Hi, I'm Zowie, a qualified mobile cat groomer offering gentle, cat-focused grooming in Colchester and surrounding areas.

I've owned cats for over 14 years and currently share my home with five of my own, so I understand that every cat is different and has their own personality, likes and dislikes.

I take a calm, cat- focused approach, allowing plenty of time and tailoring each groom to your cat's individual needs and comfort.

I offer mobile grooming in the comfort of your own home, helping to avoid the added stress of travelling to a salon or unfamiliar environment.

From regular coat care and de-shedding, to nail trims, mat removal and more, my aim is to make grooming as calm and stress- free as possible - always with patience, kindness and care.

How mobile grooming works.

I come to you and groom your cat in the comfort of their own home, avoiding the need for a car journey and unfamiliar salon environment.

I bring the grooming equipment I need with me and set up in a suitable area of your home. Each appointment is tailored to your cat, with plenty of time allowed and breaks where needed.

Your cat's comfort and welfare will always come first, and I will only carry out as much of the groom as they are comfortable with on the day.

What I need from you.

Please keep your cat indoors before i arrive and, where possible, have a suitable room or area available where they can't escape or disappear into difficult hiding places.

I'll need enough space to set up my grooming table and equipment and have access to water if your cat is having a wet bath.

Please provide somewhere safe and legal for me to park nearby while I bring my equipment into your home and complete the groom. If there are any parking restrictions, please let me know when booking.
